Today's post is a tale of two very different but both very good Annies.
Norwegian Anne Strand has been performing under the name Annie since 1999. Her latest electropop effort, Don't Stop, was released on 19 October and the single Songs Remind Me From You is an almost perfect slice of 80s disco pop.

Annie Clark, formerly of the Polyphonic Spree and currently performing as a multi instrumentalist solo artist under the name St Vincent, has produced two excellent albums including this year's Actor. To be perfectly honest I prefer her first album which has just the right levels of tuneful vulnerability, humour and weirdness.
