Amongst other things this week I have really been enjoying the debut album, Nature Is A Taker from Uninhabitable Mansions.
These guys are a sideproject of members of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah (whose frontman Alec Ounsworth also has a pretty nifty solo album out now/soon) and Au Revoir Simone.
The sound is best described as jangly, frenetic indie. When I asked S what she thought she said it was interesting but sounded a bit amateurish...that was what pretty much sold me on them.
